Also named as “The god Island” or “The thousand temples Island”, we drive you to discover Bali with its plenty worship places. Each temple has is own particularity, however, you should wear, almost each time a traditional sarong (always freely supplies) to be allowed to enter the temple. This is not an obligation but we recommend you to come with a guide which will inform you about the whole story of each place you will visit and who will preserve you from potential tourist-trap.
The entry fees of the temple is between 15 000 and 50 000 Rupiah, with additional costs for the parking fee (around 5 000 Rp. for scooter and 10 000 Rp. for cars).
BESAKIH TEMPLE:
We went to visit the most famous and inescapable Pura Besakih, also known as the “Mother temple” of Bali, the biggest and the most venerated.
Located at 1 000 m above the sea, at the feet of the holy volcano Agung, in the North-Est of the Island.
In an idyllic environment, we discovered not less than 23 temples, related to the fundamental beliefs of the Hindu religion.
We climb over the 6 main temple floors, Pura Penataran, representing the center cardinal point. This temple is actually the only one really accessible to the tourists.
TANAH LOT:

Pura Tanah Lot is located in the Kabupaten de Tabanan, from 20 km of Denpasar and 23 km from Kuta. The temple takes place on an islet, surrounded by the sea and the cliffs.
According to the myth, a pastor named Nirartha discovered the small rocky island and ask to build a temple to pay tribute to the Sea god. Moreover, to protect the place, he creates a giant snake with his scarf to chase the evil spirit and invaders.
The site offers a magnificent view of the sea and it is common to cross the road of young married couple who want to expand their wedding album.
We hope you will enjoy to discover this mystic place !
